Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) produced the first battery-quality lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LMH) at its downstream optimization plant in Germany, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The product is said to be the first fully integrated, battery-quality LHM produced in Europe, per the filing. The milestone is expected to underscore Europe's raw material independence and support the region's green mobility transition. It will also be used in ongoing qualification processes with Vulcan Energy's European-focused offtakers.
