智通财经APP获悉，文远知行(WRD.US)1月14日宣布，由瑞士苏黎世州与瑞士国家铁路SBB联合出资发起、瑞士交通实验室(STL)管理、文远知行WeRide提供产品及技术支持的瑞士创新自动驾驶试点商业项目正式启动。
根据规划，项目将分阶段逐步投入数十辆自动驾驶车辆，包含自动驾驶出租车Robotaxi和自动驾驶小巴Robobus。在测试阶段，将有两辆搭载文远知行技术的自动驾驶车辆投入使用。首批自动驾驶车队将于2025年第二季度正式投入运营，最多将部署四辆自动驾驶车辆，并将以纯无人模式运营长达5年时间。到2026年，该车队预计将再增加8辆自动驾驶车辆，且未来还会进一步扩大。
文远知行强调，该项目表明其领先的L4级自动驾驶技术和运营经验再次得到了国际市场的认可。据悉，这是该公司8个月内在欧洲拿下的第三个项目。
文远知行首席执行官表示：“该试点项目的启动表明了公司在欧洲扩展自动驾驶解决方案的承诺。从大型体育赛事到机场运营再到公共交通服务，我们的解决方案已经证明了在各种场景下的出色适应性。”
