Universal Music's Deal With Amazon Is Positive -- Market Talk

0940 GMT - Universal Music Group expanded its partnership with Amazon Music in a positive development for the record label behind Taylor Swift, UBS analysts write in a research note. They say the deal likely includes an increase in the minimum amount that Universal will get from Amazon for each premium subscriber. The analysts also say a framework for introducing new, higher-priced subscription tiers could also be part of the deal. Universal and Amazon agreed to work to address unlawful AI-generated content and protect artists from fraud. Universal Music shares trade 0.1% lower at 24.13 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
