New Frontier Minerals (ASX:NFM) said assay results confirm mineralization at the Harts Range project in the Northern Territory, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It said assay results from rock chip samples from the Cusp Prospect returned 12.52% and 8.49% triuranium octoxide, 31.48% and 19.73% niobium pentoxide, 1.68% and 1.25% dysprosium oxide, 0.26% and 0.16% tetraterbium heptaoxide, and 9.13% and 5.81 % tantalum pentoxide.
Assay results from rock chip samples also returned up to 2.25% copper.
The mining firm plans to launch geophysical surveying at the project in mid-January.
Its shares rose 5% in recent trade on Monday.
