Cullen Resources (ASX:CUL) reported the discovery of two significant gold-in-calcrete soil anomalies at its Yardilla project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
These anomalies remain untested by reverse circulation drilling. It concluded that the anomalies may be markers to the top of mineralization formed along stacked thrust sheets, the filing said.
The company is actively engaging in field investigations and exploration activities to unlock potential gold mineralization, the filing added.
Follow-up exploration is likely to include soil sampling, induced polarization surveying, and air core and/or reverse circulation drilling, per the filing.
