智通财经APP获悉，香港宽频(01310)午后一度升6%，随后涨幅逐步收窄。截至发稿，涨1.35%，报5.24港元，成交额6398.57万港元。
消息面上，据报道，知情人士称，I Squared Capital接近对香港宽频提出收购要约。I Squared 去年12月已经开始尽职调查，现在正在评估交易的潜在协同效应，以帮助其确定新要约的价格。因相关事项尚未公开，知情人士要求匿名。知情人士表示，这家专注于基础设施的美国私募基金可能最早在未来几周提出要约。
知情人士表示，相关研究仍在进行中，I Squared仍可能决定不发出收购要约。I Squared不予置评，香港宽频没有立即回复置评请求。值得注意的是，此前中移动提出以每股5.23港元的现金收购香港宽频，对香港宽频的估值约8.82亿美元。有消息人士称，I Squared的收购价或在每股5至6港元之间。
