SK Telecom Launches AI Cloud Service

SK Telecom (KRX:017670) introduced the SKT GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) at its AI Data Center in Gasan, Seoul, the South Korean telecommunications firm said Monday.

The on-demand AI cloud service will allow businesses to select GPU resources based on their needs, with flexible pricing based on contract terms and GPU quantity, the release said.

SK Telecom partnered with GPU cloud company Lambda to ensure a stable supply and expertise. The service is supported by the AI Cloud Manager launched in October 2024 for efficient GPU resource management, it said.

Shares of SK Telecom fell nearly 1% in recent trade on Tuesday.
