BlockBeats 消息，1 月 15 日，彭博社援引知情人士消息称，加密衍生品交易所 Deribit 在引起潜在收购者的注意后，聘请了一位财务顾问来“审查机会”。
该公司邀请了 Financial Technology Partners LLC（简称 FT Partners）参与此次潜在交易，加密货币交易所 Kraken 也曾表示有意参与。彭博社报道称，Kraken 并未推进收购，并称 Deribit 的估值可能超过 50 亿美元，Kraken 拒绝就此事发表评论。
在 The Block 要求发表评论后，Deribit 在一份声明中写道：“Deribit 尚未被挂牌出售。随着时间的推移，我们收到了来自各方的战略投资兴趣，我们不会透露这些兴趣。作为业务运营的常规流程，Deribit 于 2023 年初任命 FT Partners 为一般咨询服务和潜在二级市场投资的顾问。”
