Nursing home operator Econ Healthcare (Asia) says it is in "preliminary discussions" regarding a possible transaction involving the shares in the company.
"The company has not made any decision with respect to, and has not entered into any agreement for, such possible transaction and there is no certainty or assurance that any such transaction will materialise from such discussions," the company states on Jan 14.
Econ Healthcare cautions shareholders and any other potential investors that "there is no certainty or assurance that any definitive transaction will materialise, or any agreement will be reached."
The company was listed back in April 2021 - it was its second time listing on the SGX, having been privatised in 2012.
Econ Healthcare (Asia) closed at 28 cents on Jan 14, up 5.77%.
