Algonquin Power CFO's Departure Seen Neutral for Shares -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
15 Jan

0822 ET - News that Algonquin Power & Utilities' CFO Darren Myers is resigning to pursue another opportunity is likely to be neutral for the stock, as it completes its transition into a pure-play regulated utility, RBC Capital Markets' Nelson Ng reckons. The analyst expects investors in the near-term to focus on Algonquin's 2025 guidance and multi-year outlook when it reports 4Q results in early March. The company plans to undertake a search for a successor and Myers will remain CFO through reporting the quarterly numbers. (robb.stewart@wsj.com)
