The Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) renewed Cordlife's (SGX:P8A) license to provide its cord bank and human tissue banking services with effect from Jan. 14, according to a same-day filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The license has been renewed for a period of one year.
In an earlier filing, the company said it was able to resume its operations in a controlled manner and was not allowed to collect, test, process and store more than 30 units per month of new cord blood from infant donors until Jan. 13.
Shares of the company surged nearly 14% in recent trading.
