Carnaby Resources (ASX:CNB) will start its maiden drilling program at Trekelano within the Greater Duchess project in Queensland in February, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling will focus on the Inheritance and Trekelano 1 deposits and include resource infill, extension, geotechnical, and core drilling for metallurgical sampling, the filing said.
The Trekelano acquisition is expected to be completed between the first and second quarter of the year, per the filing.
Shares rose past 4% in midday trade Wednesday.
