US State Department approves $39 million sale of missiles to Japan

WASHINGTON, Jan 15 (Reuters) - The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of 16 joint air-to-surface standoff missiles to Japan for an estimated cost of $39 million, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.The principal contractor would be Lockheed Martin.
