BAKU, Jan 15 (Reuters) -
Azerbaijan's oil output fell by 3.6% to 29.1 million tonnes in 2024 from 30.2 million tonnes a year earlier, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said on Wednesday.
Oil exports in 2024 dropped to 24.4 million tonnes from 25.2 million tonnes.
Gas exports to Europe in 2024 rose to 12.9 billion cubic metres from 11.8 bcm a year earlier, the minister said.
Overall, Azerbaijan's gas exports increased to 25.2 bcm from 23.8 bcm in 2023, Shahbazov said.
BP's oil production in Azerbaijan fell to 16.8 million tonnes in 2024 from 17.8 million tonnes the year before,
the energy ministry said.
