消息面上，中信建投证券指出，1月1日，加拿大铀生产商Cameco旗下位于哈萨克斯坦的Inkai矿山暂停生产活动，暂停是“由于延迟提交所需文件”。需求端，AI科技公司为保障能源稳定供应，驱动SMR小型核反应堆快速发展，铀作为核聚变的关键原材料有望充分受益。铀价格变化本质在于十年供需错配导致的库存周期变化，库存对铀价格提供的调节作用持续下滑，铀价格弹性对供给的扰动和需求的边际增长将更为敏感。
招银国际此前表示，判断未来10年天然铀需求将受惠于核电结构性增长趋势，同时在铀矿供应受限的背景下，铀价将在未来数年保持高企。该行表示，公司通过和哈原工(KAP)两家合营公司持有四个位于哈萨克的低成本铀矿，将受惠于铀价上升的长期趋势。
