European Wax Center gave the low-end of its system-wide annual sales outlook a bump after opening more new centers than expected.

The franchiser of hair-removal waxing salons said it now expects $947 million to $950 million in system-wide sales for the year, adding $17 million to the low end of its previous guidance.

Same-store sales, which adjust for store openings and closings are expected to be flat or up no more than 0.2%. The company was previously expecting between a 1.5% drop and 0.5% increase.

Net new centers openings in fiscal 2024 were 23, above its prior estimate of 17 to 22.

Total revenue is still expected to hit $216 million to $221 million, and adjusted earnings are on track for $19 million to $22 million, the company said.
