Luk Fook Posts 6% Drop in Fiscal Q3 Retail Sales Value

Luk Fook (International)'s (HKG:0590) retail sales value fell by 6% year over year in the fiscal third quarter, mainly due to the higher gold prices, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Retailing revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, dropped by 9% from the year-ago period, while overall same-store sales decreased by 22% year over year.

The jewelry retailer saw a net reduction of 65 shops in the third fiscal quarter, according to the filing.
