Korea Electric Power (KRX:015760) and its subsidiary, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, reached a global settlement with US-based Westinghouse Electric to resolve an ongoing intellectual property dispute, Westinghouse Electric said Thursday.
The agreement clears the way for both parties to focus on deploying new nuclear reactors and collaborating on future global nuclear projects.
All legal actions will be dismissed as part of the settlement, though the specific terms were undisclosed, according to the release.
