1月20日，银联国际有限公司（以下简称“银联国际”）、印尼支付系统协会（ASPI）、北京蚂蚁国际科技有限公司、中国银行（香港）有限公司雅加达分行在上海联合宣布，将在中印（尼）两国央行指导下，共同推动两国跨境二维码互联互通，通过双向大规模开放二维码受理网络，大幅提升两国人员跨境支付体验。
合作落地后，中国游客将可使用云闪付App、境内接入“云闪付网络支付平台”的商业银行App、支付宝等境内主要支付App，在印尼本地统一二维码支付标准——QRIS受理商户扫码支付。目前当地采用QRIS标准的商户约3400万家。下一步，印尼钱包用户也将可在中国境内所有银联、支付宝二维码受理商户直接扫码支付，基本覆盖全部境内二维码商户。两国民众跨境前往对方国家出行，均可使用熟悉的本地移动支付产品，支付体验将更加便捷。
据悉，此次合作是继马来西亚、柬埔寨、老挝、越南等国之后，银联国际作为本国支付机构与境外支付网络合作的又一重要实践。目前，银联国际已在境外19个国家和地区与本地转接网络达成二维码跨境互联互通合作，19个项目已经落地或正在推进。
