Oklo (OKLO) said Friday it is collaborating with RPower to deploy a phased power model for data centers.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The partnership integrates RPower's natural gas generators for immediate energy supply with a transition to Oklo's Aurora powerhouses, offering a sustainable nuclear energy solution.
The three-stage plan begins with deploying natural gas generators to address immediate power needs, followed by integrating Aurora powerhouses to provide clean energy.
Over time, the natural gas generators will transition to backup roles, while surplus power from the system will support local grids. The company added that the collaboration offers existing and new customers a turnkey solution, combining immediate power delivery with a long-term clean energy strategy.
Shares of Oklo were up nearly 8% in recent trading.
