格隆汇1月17日｜摩根大通估计，美国科技巨擘因应人工智能(AI)热潮而积极兴建更多数据中心，今明两年美国本地生产总值(GDP)将额外增加0.1%至0.2%。美国总统拜登周二签署行政命令，容许私人企业在官地上申请建设数据中心。摩通相信，有关数据中心的投资热潮将历时数年，推动美国GDP增长。根据该行估算，数据中心兴建工程为美国2024年的GDP贡献了0.1%至0.3%。摩通预测，为支持AI数据中心，美国须增加供电能力，每增加5兆瓦至10兆瓦电力，便须200亿美元开支，相当于GDP增长0.07%。
