Biomerica (BMRA) said Thursday that the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Health and Prevention approved its Fortel prostate-specific antigen screening test for detection of prostate cancer.

Shares more than doubled as intraday trading volume surged to over 353 million from a daily average of about 955,000.

Flexible Solutions International (FSI) said Thursday it signed a non-exclusive, manufacturing contract with a US-based company that will likely deliver annual revenue of between $15 million and $30 million, or possibly more.

The five-year contract will automatically renew for up to five additional successive five-year terms unless a non-renewal is sought at least 180 days before the end of the then-current term.

Shares of Flexible Solutions advanced 39% as intraday trading volume jumped to nearly 16 million from a daily average of about 41,000.

DouYu International (DOYU) said Thursday it appointed Simin Ren as co-chief executive officer, effective immediately.

The company also disclosed a special cash dividend of $9.94 per ordinary share or American depositary share to holders of record on Feb. 10.

Shares jumped 25%, with intraday trading volume at nearly 1.7 million compared with a daily average of about 111,000.
