HA Sustainable Infrastructure Capital (HASI) said Thursday it is investing in a structured equity capital partnership with IGS Solar to finance residential solar and energy storage systems across the US.

The company said its first equity investment will fund the deployment in 2025 of a total of 71 megawatts of rooftop solar systems across 11 states. The solar systems are contracted to homeowners through 25-year leases, HA added.

IGS Solar, an affiliate of IGS Energy, expects the partnership to support the deployment of solar and energy storage systems for up to 60,000 customers over the next three years, according to a statement.
