Infosys (NSE:INFY, BOM:500209) posted an increase in its consolidated net profit to 68.1 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, against 61.1 billion rupees a year earlier.
Earnings per share came in at 16.39 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 14.74 rupees, the IT services firm said in a Thursday filing to the stock exchanges.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha predicted EPS at 16.33 rupees.
The company's revenue in fiscal Q3 also rose to 417.64 billion rupees from 388.21 billion rupees a year earlier. This was also higher than Visible Alpha's estimate of 413.1 billion rupees.
Shares of the company were down over 5% in recent trade.
