巴克莱银行聘雇高盛的Paul Johnson担任亚太地区股票主管，这是该银行增强该地区股票业务的三年计划之一环。

　　根据一份内部备忘录，Johnson将负责推动亚太地区的平台、产品和客户，他自2015年以来一直任职于高盛。备忘录称，他的任务是扩大衍生性商品、股票挂钩融资、电子交易等业务，也将负责机构经纪业务。这家英国银行驻香港的发言人证实了备忘录的内容。

　　巴克莱去年2月公布了一项三年计划，通过将更多资本投入到利润更高的业务（包括机构经纪服务和股票衍生品）来提高回报。

　　Johnson将与Christian Treuer密切合作，巴克莱银行去年7月任命Treuer为亚太地区股票分销主管。Johnson将常驻香港，在全球和区域范围内分别向Scott McDavid及亚太区负责人Jaideep Khanna汇报。他也将加入全球股票管理委员会和亚太地区市场管理团队。
