智通财经APP获悉，在财报电话会议上，联合健康(UNH.US)首席执行官Andrew Witty直面长期投资者高度关切的客户满意度问题。他表示：“公司的使命是努力提升每个人的医疗体验。这不仅意味着降低成本，使服务更实惠，而且还意味着让人们更容易获得，不再繁琐复杂、令人迷茫。我们认识到在这方面还有很多工作要做。”
Witty表示：“从根本上说，美国的医疗成本更高，因为这里的单次手术、就诊或处方的价格高于其他国家。另一个例子是美国药品价格居高不下，导致美国消费者、雇主和公共机构支付的费用比其他国家高得多……解决这个问题需要系统的所有部分和政策制定者共同努力。”
