智通财经APP讯，金猫银猫(01815)发布公告，董事会建议将本公司的英文名称由“CSMall Group Limited”更改为“Mount Everest Gold Group Company Limited”;及将本公司的中文双重外文名称由“金猫银猫集团有限公司”更改为“珠峰黄金集团有限公司”。
目前，本集团为中国领先的线上线下一体化互联网珠宝零售商，拥有一个业务分部，亦即珠宝新零售业务分部，即于中国设计及销售黄金、白银、有色宝石以及宝石及其他珠宝产品。诚如本公司日期为2024年8月30日的2024年中期业绩公告所披露，珠宝新零售业务分部贡献本集团截至2024年6月30日止6个月收入超过97%。
建议更改公司名称将一方面展现本集团对中国的黄金相关业务营运的长期专注，另一方面反映本集团进军同样与黄金相关并于喜马拉雅山脉珠穆朗玛峰附近进行的矿产勘探活动。因此，董事会认为建议更改公司名称将给予本公司更明确的企业形象及识别，而这将有利于本集团的未来业务发展，并符合本公司及股东的整体最佳利益。
