BlackSky Selected for $200 Million Geospatial Intelligence Contract -- Shares Up After Hours

BlackSky Technology (BKSY) said Thursday it was picked by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as one of the vendors for the $200 million Luno B contract.

The commercial data contract has a five-year base ordering period with a $200 million ceiling, the company said, adding vendors will compete for future delivery orders.

Luno B is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, IDIQ, contract that provides geospatial intelligence on global economic and geopolitical activity, including illegal activities.

BlackSky shares were rising 3% in recent after-hours trading.
