Augustus Minerals (ASX:AUG) said rock chips collected during a field trip to the St Patrick's Well prospect, within the Music Well project in Western Australia, yielded high-grade assays of up to 30 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results from 10 rock chips were collected in December 2024, with all samples of vein quartz assaying greater than 0.9 g/t of gold, 30.4 g/t of gold, and 20.4 g/t of gold, the filing said.

An artificial intelligence-enhanced targeting study is underway to synthesize historical and recently acquired data into an integrated model, with results expected in the first quarter of the year, per the filing.
