Marquee Resources Raises Capital From Oversubscribed Share Placement, Shares Rise Over 7%

Marquee Resources (ASX:MQR) completed an oversubscribed share placement, raising a total of AU$829,153 at an issue price of AU$0.012 per share, before costs, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

Placement participants also received a free attaching option per two shares subscribed, exercisable at AU$0.05 with a 3-year expiry from the issue date, the filing said.

A total of 69.1 million new shares will be issued in the placement under the firm's existing share issue capacity while 34.5 million options will also be issued, subject to shareholder approval.

GTT Ventures was the lead manager for the capital raise.

The firm's shares rose over 7% in recent trading on Friday.
