DigitalX (ASX:DCC) said its right issue will close on Jan. 24, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The firm is offering existing eligible shareholders the opportunity to subscribe for one new share for every eight shares they held as of the record date of Dec. 24, 2024, at an issue price of AU$0.047 per share.

It will use the AU$12.1 million it raises via the issue as well from a placement announced on Dec. 18, 2024, for the expansion of digital asset staking and validation services, including the acquisition of digital assets and engagement of services. It will also use AU$3 million for working capital.

The company's shares rose nearly 2% in recent trading Friday.
