J.B. Hunt Transport Services defied a weak U.S. freight market to post a higher profit in the fourth quarter, although overall revenue fell as lower revenue per load more than offset volume gains. Quarterly earnings per share rose to $1.53 from $1.47 last year, though they missed the $1.61 that analysts surveyed by FactSet were expecting. Revenue fell 5% to $3.15 billion, primarily due to lower revenue per load, excluding fuel surcharge revenue, across its intermodal and truckload segments. Shares fall 9.3%, to $168.80, in after-hours trading.

Nukkleus said it regained Nasdaq compliance and will continue to be listed and traded on the exchange. The fintech firm said its Jan. 21 hearing has been canceled. It regained compliance after receiving notice in November that it was at risk of being delisted for failing to maintain a minimum market value of publicly held shares of $15 million for 30 consecutive business days, as well as a minimum market value of $50 million for 30 consecutive business days. Shares surge 48%, to $30.45, in postmarket trading.

Versus Systems said it plans to expand its operations to Brazil. The company, which provides gamification and audience engagement technology, said it named Flavio Maria its manager for Brazil, which it described as one of biggest gaming markets in the world with more than 100 million gaming users. Shares jump 31%, to $2.52, in after-hours trading.
