BlockBeats 消息，1 月 23 日，据《财富》报道，美国证券交易委员会（SEC）最新披露文件显示，伯克希尔哈撒韦公司对巴西数字银行 Nu Holdings 的持股比例从 2022 年第四季度的 0.1% 增至 2024 财年第三季度的 0.4%，目前持有超过 8600 万股，市值接近 12 亿美元。该公司股价在过去一年上涨了 34%。
Nu Holdings 最初获得伯克希尔在 2021 年 G 轮融资中的 5 亿美元投资，随后又追加了 2.5 亿美元。该公司于 2022 年推出加密货币平台 Nubank Cripto，初期支持比特币、以太坊和 Polygon，目前已扩展至支持 Uniswap 和 Chainlink，用户可进行加密货币的发送、接收和兑换。
这一投资与巴菲特此前对加密货币的态度形成鲜明对比。巴菲特曾在 2018 年伯克希尔年度股东大会上称比特币为"平方后的鼠药"，并在 2022 年表示"即使有人以 25 美元的价格出售全球所有比特币，他也不会购买"。
