China Petroleum & Chemical Corp. or Sinopec's (HKG:0386, SHA:600028) oil and gas, crude oil, and natural gas production increased in 2024, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Oil and gas production increased 2.2% to 515.3 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) during the reporting year from 504.1 mmboe a year earlier.
Crude oil production inched up 0.26% to 281.9 million barrels from 281.1 million barrels in the year-ago period, the filing said.
Natural gas production grew 4.68% to 1.400 trillion cubic feet from 1.338 trillion cubic feet a year earlier.
However, the total domestic sales volume of refined oil products declined 2.84% to 182.8 million tons from 188.2 million tons in the year-ago period.
