据彭博新闻报道，消息人士透露，世茂集团控股有限公司（Shimao Group Holdings Ltd.）的一家贷款机构正在与私人信贷投资者进行谈判，希望能脱手一笔今年到期的13亿美元贷款。这笔贷款与一个豪华公寓项目有关，对这家已违约的中国开发商的重组至关重要。
消息人士说，总部位于新加坡的大华银行（United Overseas Bank Ltd.）最近几周与这些投资者接洽，希望就这笔100亿港元的贷款达成交易。世茂在2022年获得的这笔贷款将于 9 月 30 日到期，由位于香港九龙塘的Beacon Peak项目提供担保。
