Sega Sammy Holdings (TYO:6460) said Sonic the Hedgehog 3, co-produced with SEGA of America, and Paramount Pictures, has surpassed $425 million worldwide, breaking the previous film's $405 million record.
Paramount Pictures has slated Sonic the Hedgehog 4 for release in theaters on March 19, 2027, read the Wednesday filing.
