智通财经APP获悉，据外媒周三报道，在经历长达12年的审批之争后，力拓(RIO.US)押注美国总统特朗普最终将会为其位于亚利桑那州的大型Resolution铜矿项目开绿灯。力拓首席执行官Jakob Stausholm在接受采访时表示，“我确实认为我们现在有很好的机会来推进这个项目。我们已经取得了很大进展。”
Resolution铜矿于2013年首次向美国林务局提交了采矿计划，一旦完全开发，将成为北美最大铜矿，每年可生产多达10亿磅的铜，满足美国总需求的25%。
力拓拥有该项目55%的股份，必和必拓(BHP.US)则持有45%的股份。该项目是预计将从特朗普政策中受益的几个项目之一。特朗普去年宣布，他将加快对任何在美国投资超过10亿美元的公司的监管审批
业内高管表示，北朝矿业(NAK)拥有的阿拉斯加卵石项目(Pebble Project)是一个铜金矿项目，预计也将在新政府任期内获得最终批准。
