智通财经APP获悉，据报道，“股神”沃伦·巴菲特旗下伯克希尔·哈撒韦(BRK.A.US,BRK.B.US)的Pilot Co将关闭国际石油交易业务，重新专注于美国加油站和卡车停靠站业务。
据报道，Pilot已解雇几乎所有负责国际交易的员工，转而计划投入资源发展自己的北美业务。
总部位于田纳西州的Pilot以加油站和卡车停靠站而闻名，在伯克希尔于2017年收购该公司39%的股份后，该公司开始进行国际交易。
去年1月，巴菲特在与亿万富翁吉米·哈斯拉姆就该公司估值发生法律纠纷后，接管了Pilot剩余20%的股份。该公司的税前利润从2022年的逾23亿美元减半至2023年的10.6亿美元。
据报道，自那以来，Pilot对国际石油交易风险的偏好逐渐减弱，近几个月该公司裁掉了大部分国际石油和燃料交易员。
根据伯克希尔最新季度报告，Pilot在2024年前9个月的总营收超过360亿美元，税前利润为4.86亿美元，均同比下降。
