Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM) has declared force majeure in southern Louisiana as vessels struggle to navigate amid a harsh snowstorm, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday citing a person familiar with the matter.
The crop trader has halted the loading of grain vessels at US Gulf terminals as the region is ill-equipped to deal with such weather conditions, according to the report.
The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
