Greenlam, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greenlam Industries (NSE:GREENLAM, BOM:538979), has begun commercial production of chipboard at its Naidupeta manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh, India, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian bourses.
The company has invested about 7.35 billion Indian rupees for the chipboard project, the company said.
The new unit has an installed production capacity of 292,380 cubic meters per annum and an estimated revenue potential of 7.50 billion rupees annually at full capacity utilization.
