1126 GMT - The Novo Nordisk Foundation is strongly interested in the rollout of small nuclear reactors across industrial clusters, Chairman Lars Rebien Sorensen tells the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The foundation is willing to participate in the testing and commissioning of such reactors to demonstrate to the world that they are feasible, he says. Novo Nordisk is also starting to invest in nuclear fusion energy, he adds. Other interests of the Danish non-profit include supercomputing and machine learning to implement energy efficiencies in industry, he says. "We believe that we will not be able to resolve the challenge that we face without the expansion of nuclear," he says. (cristina.gallardo@wsj.com)
