港铁(00066.HK) 表示，为方便大众于节日期间外出欢度佳节，将于明日(24日)起至大年初七(2月4日)于不同时段加强多条铁路线的列车服务，合共增加逾1,600班车。港岛线、荃湾线、东铁线及南港岛线四条铁路线，会于周六、日及公众假期指定时段加密班次，而东铁线及迪士尼线亦将于农历新年期间大部分日子加强列车服务。
同时，港铁宣布农历年廿九(本月28日)将提供通宵服务(东铁线来往上水至罗湖及落马洲站车程、机场快线及迪士尼线除外)，当晚所有本地铁路线及轻铁七条路线亦将通宵行驶。港铁巴士三条路线则会延长服务时间，高铁(香港段)将如常服务。
年廿九当日，八条本地铁路线将提早于下午三时行驶晚上繁忙时段班次，港岛线、荃湾线、观塘线及将军澳线(北角至将军澳站)将加密至约2分钟一班车。
因应年初二(本月30日)举行的维港烟花汇演，观塘线、荃湾线、港岛线、南港岛线、屯马线、东铁线及东涌线七条铁路线将调整班次，以配合乘客前往观赏及离场，东铁线会于当日早上开始逐步加强服务。
配合节日旅游高峰，机场快线将会延长服务时间，年初一(本月29日)由香港站开往机场及博览馆站的头班车会提前于上午5时35分开出，年初三至初五(1月31日至2月2日)晚上由博览馆站开出，途经机场站
