1月21日消息：必和必拓集团周二表示，上个季度的铜产量高于去年同期水平。这家总部位于澳大利亚的矿业巨头也是世界市值最高的矿业公司。

该公司在第二财季的铜产量为510,700吨，同比增长17%。

必和必拓表示，位于智利的埃斯孔迪达铜矿产量创下十年新高，远远抵消了澳大利亚南部铜矿因天气原因停电的影响。

该矿业公司重申了其铜矿业务的年度产量预期不变。
