Schlumberger (SLB) said Thursday that its SLB Capturi unit has commissioned its modular carbon capture plant at Twence's waste-to-energy facility in Hengelo, Netherlands.
The plant can capture up to 100,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide annually, which will be used in the horticulture and food and beverage industries, according to the company.
The plant uses SLB Capturi's Just Catch design, a modular system that simplifies installation, making it more cost-effective and easier to deploy, the company said.
