Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) said Tuesday it agreed to acquire Secure-IC, a provider of embedded security IP platforms.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
Cadence's acquisition of Secure-IC aims to address the growing complexities of embedded cybersecurity by combining Secure-IC's leading embedded security solutions with Cadence's expertise in IP and subsystem design, the company said.
The company said the transaction, which is expected to close in the first half of 2025 pending regulatory approvals and customary conditions, is not expected to materially impact the company's revenue or earnings this year.
