South Korea's STX (KRX:011810) unveiled two patrol vessels, B.A.P. Rio Huarmey and B.A.P. Rio Nepena, at a christening ceremony in Peru earlier this month, Yonhap News reported Monday.
Built with Peruvian national shipyard SIMA, the identical vessels measure 56.4 meters in length and 8.5 meters in width and could go as fast as 23 knots, the report said.
Construction of the patrol boats is expected to be completed in the second half of 2025, Yonhap said.
Shares of STX fell nearly 3% at market close on Tuesday.
