Sunstone Hotel Investors (SHO) said Wednesday that Chris Ostapovicz departed from his position as chief operating officer due to the elimination of the post from the company's management structure.
The company's president and chief investment officer and other executives will assume the responsibilities that the COO previously performed, according to a regulatory filing.
Ostapovicz will cooperate with the company through Jan. 31 to help with the transition in connection with the company's management restructuring, the real estate investment trust said.
Shares of Sunstone Hotel Investors were down 2.3% in recent Wednesday trading.
