ScanTech AI Systems named James White as its chief financial officer after it went public earlier this month.

White is a certified public accountant and formerly worked as a senior manager at Ernst & Young, said the Buford, Ga., company, which provides computed tomography-screening technology.

He is well-versed in Securities and Exchange Commission reporting, direct public equity, debt offerings and business combinations, ScanTech said.

The company said on Jan. 2 it would go public through a special purpose acquisition with Mars Acquisition. ScanTech's stock was priced at $1.48 on Tuesday.
