0947 GMT - The health sector's fears about the new Trump administration are overblown, Novartis Chief Executive Vasant Narasimhan says in an interview with Bloomberg at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Trump is likely to be more pro-innovation than the previous Biden administration, he says. However, his rhetoric could undermine trust in the healthcare sector, he adds. The industry will need to balance environmental, social and governance concerns with the Trump administration's position, he says. The CEO noted confidence in Novartis's prospects for the years ahead. Shares trade up 0.31% to CHF89.51. (adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
