Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) said that it was progressing the pre-feasibility study for the Tabba Tabba lithium project in Western Australia after the release of a mineral resource estimate in the December 2024 quarter, according to a filing with the Australian bourse on Wednesday.
This allowed for the commencement of mining engineering, process engineering, and infrastructure assessments, the filing added.
It plans to progress the second phase of metallurgical test work and lodge final documentation for environmental approval in the March quarter.
It applied for 16 new tenements comprising 561 square kilometers, in order to grow its Bolt Cutter project, also in Western Australia, during the quarter.
Its shares fell past 3% in recent trading on Wednesday.
